KAESER KOMPRESSOREN offers a wide range of opportunities for you to gain real experience with hands-on applications. Of course you'll learn a lot about compressors, their design and manufacturing and how they work. But you'll also find out more about yourself, your skill set and the career path that best matches your profile.
A work placement is possible at any stage of your studies – as a preliminary internship, or as a three to six month placement during your degree programme. The areas open to you will depend on your areas of specialisation as well as our projects and the availability of staff to support you.
We offer work placements mainly to students in the following fields:
- mechanical engineering
- electrical engineering
- process engineering
- industrial engineering
- business sciences
- business computing
- computer science
- physical engineering
If you are interested in a technical work placement, one of the following areas may be right for you:
- research and development
- distribution/sales
- manufacturing
- work preparation
- logistics
Areas open to students in business administration and similar fields of study include:
- distribution/sales
- accounting and finance
- IT organisation
- logistics
- human resources
We also regularly offer placements to students in other areas.
How do you apply?
As the placements are limited, it is essential to apply well ahead of time. You should submit your application at least three months prior to your desired starting date
and include the same documents as required for a regular job application (e.g. cover letter, CV, all references since your school leaving certificate, references from previous work placements or internships, and the work placement guidelines of your university, if applicable). If possible, please include a grade transcript for your studies to date.
After reviewing your application, we will invite you to an interview if we have a suitable opening and will notify you of our decision without delay.
